GSL Education are actively recruiting Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant to join exceptional Secondary Schools in York, North Yorkshire starting in January 2025.
Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
- Supporting SEMH students with a range of additional needs, including mental health, behavioural difficulties, and autism.
- Liaising with class teachers, the senior leadership team, and outside agencies, in order to comply with EHCPs or personalised learning plans.
- Helping to boost self-confidence and self-esteem of students.
- To build relationships with key children and young people on a 1:1 basis.
- Managing behaviour in-line with the school's policies and ethos.
