Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Contract Type: Long Term
Working Hours: 08:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

What You’ll Do as a Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets:
- Collaborate with Teachers: Work side-by-side with classroom teachers to inspire and motivate students, helping them reach their full potential.
- Provide Focused Support: Offer 1:1 and small group assistance to children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they receive the individualized help they need to thrive.
- Boost Confidence: Use your caring approach and personalized strategies to help students build self-esteem and grow academically.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Candidates: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is a must.
- SEN Expertise: You’re ready to provide 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Child Development Knowledge: A solid understanding of child development and effective support techniques.
- Team Player: You excel at working collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- Strong Communication: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathetic Listener: You have the ability to boost students' confidence and self-esteem through active listening and thoughtful interventions.
Safeguarding Notice: A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential. Successful candidates will undergo safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
