Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:30 am - 3:45 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support an inclusive and dynamic school community in Tower Hamlets. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to help young learners—particularly those with SEMH needs, ADHD diagnoses, and other individual challenges—thrive in a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide targeted morning support for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them navigate challenges with confidence.
- Offer afternoon support across Key Stages 1 and 2, where flexibility and creativity will be key to meeting the varying needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies that promote academic, social, and emotional progress.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning atmosphere, building strong, positive relationships with children and empowering them to reach their potential.

About You:
- Experience working as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant (or in a similar role) is preferred.
- You’re proactive and resilient, ready to support students and maintain high standards.
- Willing to assist with nappy changing when necessary, ensuring the well-being of every child.
- Passionate about working with children with SEN and committed to safeguarding and child protection.
- A team player who communicates effectively with staff, students, and parents alike.
