About the Role:

As an RE Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in equipping students with the knowledge and understanding of various religious beliefs and practices. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire a love for religious studies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive and progressive educational setting.

Responsibilities of RE Teacher:

  • Teach RE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (experience with KS5 is advantageous).
  • Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Support students in developing their critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements of RE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in teaching Religious Education or a related subject is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships within the school community.
  • Deep commitment to helping students succeed, demonstrating patience and empathy.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in religious education (desirable but not essential).
