Salary: £87 - £108 per day (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:

As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) for secondary school, you will have the opportunity to work in a subject area you are passionate about, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to secondary students. You will be supported in your teaching journey while developing your skills and confidence as a teacher. This role will provide you with the chance to work alongside experienced colleagues, receive mentoring, and continue to grow in your profession.

Key Responsibilities of the ECT (Secondary):

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to secondary school students, fostering an engaging learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to students, guiding their academic and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and inspire student interest.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching practices and share ideas.
  • Support the individual learning needs of students, ensuring that they receive the attention and help required to succeed.
  • Manage classroom behavior in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Requirements of the Early Career Teacher (ECT):

  • newly qualified teacher or someone in the early stages of their teaching career.
  • A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive and professional attitude with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
