Role: Maths Teacher
Location: Chesterfield
Salary Scale: £150 to £230 per day
Start Date: January 2025

Are you a dedicated and qualified Maths Teacher eager to inspire and challenge students? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Chesterfield site, delivering high-quality Maths lessons and fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics.

The Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and effective mathematics instruction, ensuring students develop their skills and confidence in the subject. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  2. Student Engagement: Use innovative teaching strategies to inspire a love for mathematics and promote active learning.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development.
  4. Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and respect.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to enhance the Maths department and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to fostering student achievement and well-being.
