Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Hasland, Chesterfield (with potential relocation to a new site nearby)
Salary Scale: £86 to £100 per day
Start Date: March/April 2025

Are you an experienced and adaptable Teaching Assistant ready to support students in a dynamic educational environment? We are looking for dedicated professionals to join our Chesterfield site team, starting at Hasland and potentially relocating to a new site just five minutes away when it opens in March/April 2025.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students to overcome challenges and achieve their potential. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Academic Support: Provide tailored assistance to students in small groups or one-on-one, helping them engage with the secondary curriculum.
  2. Building Resilience: Work closely with pupils facing challenges, promoting their confidence, motivation, and social-emotional development.
  3. Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
  4. Adaptability: Transition seamlessly to the new site when it opens, maintaining continuity of support for students and staff.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a supportive team to ensure the success of all students and contribute to the overall school ethos.

Requirements:
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a secondary school setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs and challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• A proactive and team-oriented approach to problem-solving and supporting learning.
