About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the classroom teacher to provide tailored support to students. You will assist with classroom activities, ensuring that each child is able to thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment. Whether you are supporting small groups or offering one-to-one assistance, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities as a TA:

  • Provide in-class support to students, assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their academic goals.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Monitor student progress and offer feedback to the teacher to help track development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and patient approach to working with children.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • A commitment to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • A willingness to work in an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV and two relevant references from within the last two years.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
  • Competitive hourly pay rates of £12.82 - £14.72, depending on experience.
