Salary: £85 - £100 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of our fantastic client schools in Blandford as a Cover Supervisor!
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step in to cover lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, making sure students remain focused, engaged, and productive throughout their lessons. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the continuity of students’ education and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise students during lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that all work is completed.
- Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies to ensure a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Offer support to students as needed, helping them engage with their tasks and ensuring they stay on track.
- Report any behavioral or academic issues to the school leadership team, maintaining high standards.
- Provide assistance with classroom activities, ensuring students are productive and focused on the set work.
- Assist with any administrative tasks related to the lesson, such as collecting and distributing materials.
Requirements of the Cover Supervisor:
- A confident and proactive approach to classroom management.
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- The ability to adapt quickly to various subjects and classroom environments.
- A positive attitude with a strong focus on supporting students and ensuring their success.
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
To work with GSL Education you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV and two relevant references from within the last two years.
- Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
