Cover Supervisor
Location:Sholing
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/Part-time
Salary Scale: £85 – £100 per day(Depending on experience)
GSL Education are seeking a proactive and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join one of our client schools in Sholing. This pivotal role involves maintaining continuity in students’ education during teacher absences by delivering pre-set lesson plans and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a productive and supportive learning environment. Your role will involve managing classroom behaviour, delivering pre-set lesson plans, and assisting students with their tasks.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervising and delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
- Providing feedback on lesson progress and reporting any incidents.
- Supporting students to remain focused and productive during lessons.
Required Qualifications for a Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience in an educational setting (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidence to lead groups of students and manage behaviour effectively.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people’s education and well-being.
