Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with individual students, tailoring your support to their unique learning needs and helping them overcome challenges.
Responsibilities as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Deliver personalised, one-on-one support to students, ensuring they receive the guidance necessary to achieve their academic goals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of engaging, tailored lessons that align with the student's unique learning style.
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel encouraged, valued, and empowered to succeed.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback and strategies to enhance confidence and motivation.
- Provide assistance during break times and extracurricular activities, fostering social development and positive interactions.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, stimulating, and growth-orientated learning environment that supports both personal and academic achievement.
Requirements for the 1:1 Teaching Assistant role:
- Previous experience working with children in a 1:1 setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting individual learning.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
- A positive, patient, and encouraging attitude to inspire and motivate students.
- Flexibility and willingness to contribute to the wider school environment.
To work with GSL Education as 1:1 Teaching Assistant you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
