Job Summary:
A vibrant secondary school in Slough is seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to join their team. Specializing in subjects such as History, Geography, or Religious Studies, you’ll inspire students to explore and engage with the world around them. This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons are engaging and accessible for all learners.
- Inspire curiosity and critical thinking, encouraging students to excel in their studies.
- Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the Humanities department.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering student success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in a relevant Humanities subject.
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Humanities at secondary level.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
