GSL Education are searching for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is your chance to work in schools across Lincoln, providing essential support to help students achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom. Whether working one-to-one or in small groups, you’ll be instrumental in creating a nurturing space where every student can thrive. This is your opportunity to inspire, guide, and truly make a difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students who need additional help.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with their learning, helping them build confidence and independence.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Assist with classroom management and the preparation of learning materials.
- Promote positive behaviour and support students in developing social skills.
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
- CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Education (preferred).
- Experience working in a school or educational setting as a Learning Support Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.
