Role: SEN Teacher (Autism Specialist)

Salary: £150 to £230 per day

The Role:
In this role, you will work directly with students who have Autism and associated learning challenges, helping them overcome barriers to their education. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Individualised Support: Develop and implement personalised learning strategies to help students with Autism access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and provide insightful feedback to parents and colleagues to support their academic and social-emotional growth.
- Emotional Support: Foster a nurturing and secure environment, offering emotional guidance and encouragement to help students manage their anxieties and sensory sensitivities.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in each student’s educational journey.
- Inclusion: Advocate for inclusivity within the school community, ensuring that students with Autism feel a sense of belonging and support.
Requirements:
• Relevant experience as an SEN Teacher, particularly with students on the Autism spectrum.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students with Autism succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Previous experience in supporting students with Autism is highly advantageous.
