Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long Term, Full-Time

About the Role:

As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of French. You will have the opportunity to teach across a range of key stages, ensuring students develop their language skills and cultural understanding. Responsibilities of the French Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality French lessons across all key stages.
  • Plan, prepare, and mark lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster an appreciation for French language and culture, encouraging students to develop a love of learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their skills.
  • Work closely with colleagues to support students' overall academic and personal development.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Requirements of the French Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A degree in French, Modern Languages, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching French at secondary school level is preferred but not essential.
  • Passion for teaching French and a commitment to student success.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • An up-to-date CV and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
