ICT Technician
Location: Hackney
Rate: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long Term, Full Time
GSL Education London Branch is seeking a skilled and dedicated ICT Technician to join a vibrant coeducational secondary school and sixth form in Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing essential ICT support to staff and students.
Responsibilities of the ICT Technician:
- Provide technical support to students and staff, ensuring all ICT systems function smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment and software.
- Monitor and manage the school’s ICT infrastructure, including servers, Wi-Fi, and printers.
- Ensure data security and compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Assist with setting up ICT resources for lessons, presentations, and school events.
- Deliver regular maintenance and updates to ensure smooth ICT operations.
Requirements for the ICT Technician:
- Previous experience in an ICT Technician role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to assist staff and students effectively.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
