We are seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join a supportive team in Oldham, OL5, to start as soon as possible.
Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate best suited for this role will be someone with a genuine passion for supporting students in their educational journey. A passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
Your role
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational support to students
- Provide one-to-one mentoring and tutoring to students, including those with autism
- Support the educational and social development of students
- Communicate effectively with both students and teaching staff
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs
- Strong communication skills
- Empathy and patience when working with students
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development
