Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Working Hours: 08:30 am to 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to become a vital part of our vibrant school community in Newham. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our team of committed educators to support our amazing students, ensuring they receive the highest quality education and care.
Key Responsibilities of SEN TA:
- Morning Support: Provide targeted assistance to students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors.
- Afternoon Flexibility: Support students across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to their varied educational needs.
- Nurturing Environment: Use your expertise to foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work hand-in-hand with teachers and the SENCO to implement customized support plans and interventions.

SEN TA Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and work independently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.
