Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:30 am - 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be an essential part of a vibrant school community, working closely with children who have a range of learning needs. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that every child gets the individual support they need to succeed, both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll have the chance to:
- Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors, especially in the mornings.
- Offer flexible assistance in the afternoons across Key Stages 1 and 2, ensuring that all students get the care and guidance they need.
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel supported, building their confidence and helping them reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans and interventions.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students, helping them with their social, emotional, and academic development.

What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- A solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to assist with nappy changing when needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development are an advantage.
