Location: Newham
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 08:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic and supportive team at an outstanding Primary School in Newham. This role is pivotal in helping children with diverse learning needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
- Morning Support: Provide personalized assistance to children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD and self-harming behaviors.
- Inclusive Learning: Create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student feels supported and valued.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
- Afternoon Flexibility: Offer crucial support across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to the unique needs of different age groups.
- Positive Relationships: Build strong, trusting relationships with students to foster their overall development.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role, is preferred.
- Nappy Changing: Must be experienced and comfortable with nappy changing and providing personal care.
- Proactive & Resilient: A proactive, resilient individual who holds high standards and can help students achieve their best.
- SEN Expertise: Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
- Versatility: Ability to adapt and provide tailored support, including nappy changing, for individual student needs.
- Team Player: Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
