Position: Supply Teacher  
Location:  - Southend-on-Sea
Salary Scale: £125-£220, depending on experience and qualifications!
Contract Type: Full-time

Supply Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to students of various ages, on various topics. Ensuring learning objectives are met.  
  • Manage behaviour effectively and foster a positive learning environment
  • Provide instruction and support, explain tasks clearly and provide guidance, support and encouragement.
  • Adapting quickly - Be prepared to teach various subjects and adapt quickly to different classroom environments. Flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing plans are essential in this role.

Supply Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • A valid DBS and successful vetting/safeguarding checks.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • UK classroom experience.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting learning.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Ability to commute to schools in Essex and surrounding areas.
