Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Working Hours: 08:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community, where you'll play a vital role in helping children with diverse learning needs thrive. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring that every child receives the individualized support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide focused support for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors, particularly in the mornings.
- Offer flexible afternoon support across Key Stages 1 and 2, ensuring all students receive the care and assistance they require.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, helping children build confidence and achieve their potential.
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalized learning plans and interventions.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their social, emotional, and academic development.

What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- A solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to assist with nappy changing when necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping children succeed.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development are a plus.
