Job Title: Secondary SEN Teacher
Location: Sholing
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full time
Start Date: January 2025

Role Overview:
In this Secondary SEN Teacher role, you’ll create tailored lesson plans, deliver engaging lessons, and provide individualised support to meet each student’s needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
- Encourage and support students to reach their full potential, adapting materials and strategies as needed.
- Assess student achievements, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching methods to ensure continuous progress.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive educational environment.
- Work closely with SEN coordinators and support staff to maintain cohesive support strategies.
- Implement positive behaviour management techniques to promote a respectful and focused learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working as a Secondary SEN Teacher is desirable.
- A thorough understanding of SEN practices and the ability to create tailored learning experiences.
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach.
- Proven ability to engage and inspire students with diverse needs.
- Additional qualifications in SEN are an advantage but not essential.
