Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full time

Role Overview:
As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will be a vital part of the team, creating an inclusive learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. This role is ideal for a dedicated Secondary SEN Teacher who can bring energy, patience, and creativity to the classroom. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other teachers and support staff to provide the best possible educational experience for every student.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and adaptive lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum, focusing on individual student needs.
- Provide targeted support to students, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Cultivate a safe, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and supported.
- Work closely with other teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s education.
- Regularly evaluate and report on student progress, adjusting learning plans as needed to meet each child’s unique needs.
- Encourage positive behaviours and implement strategies to support students in their social and emotional development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Secondary SEN Teacher would be a plus.
- In-depth understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and its application in secondary education.
- Strong communication skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students while adapting to their diverse learning styles.
- Relevant trainings in SEN education are highly desirable.
