Upper KS2 Teacher:

  • Salary: £30000 - £41333 per annum
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking to appoint an Experienced Upper KS2 Teacher at a Primary School in Heywood. Come and join our dedicated and enthusiastic team ASAP on a permanent, full-time contract.

As a Upper KS2 Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality education to our students in KS1/KS2, day-to-day teaching and learning provision for children's in their class. You will be guided by experienced teachers within the school who will provide comprehensive support in every aspect of your role. The school has great facilities & close to public transport, the school’s focus is to give a nurturing approach to learning whilst making learning fun.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote student progress
  • Regularly assess and record student achievements and set improvement goals
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching to support diverse learning needs, including SEN and EAL students
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance student learning experiences

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
  • Experience in teaching at Primary level (KS1/KS2) is desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students 
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant teacher references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
