As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will be providing essential classroom support, assisting students with their learning, and ensuring that they receive the help they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers with the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Assist in the classroom by working with individuals or small groups of students.
- Monitor and track the progress of students, ensuring they are meeting their potential.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Encourage students’ confidence and help them overcome any challenges they may face.
What We’re Looking for in the Teaching Assistant:
- A strong desire to work with children and help them reach their full potential.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- A flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to different classroom environments.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the school’s inclusive culture.
