GSL Education are hiring a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work at a supportive school in Andover. This Teaching Assistant position allows you to play an essential role in guiding students academically and emotionally, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll assist teachers with day-to-day activities in the classroom, working closely with individual students or small groups. Your support will make a difference in helping students overcome challenges and achieve their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing one-on-one and small-group support for students to enhance learning.
- Collaborating with teachers to manage classroom tasks and maintain an engaging environment.

Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- While not required, NVQ Level 2/3 or CACHE Level 2/3 qualifications are highly beneficial.
- Experience working with children or young adults is beneficial.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to helping students succeed.

- Have eligibility to work in the UK.
- Provide a current CV (from October 2015 to present) with recent references (from October 2022 to present).
- Possess a DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
