Salary: £120 - £150 per day (Depending on experience)
Start date: January 2025 start (Immediately also possible)

About the role:

As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and maintaining continuity in students' education during the absence of regular teachers. You will be pivotal in ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across different subjects and year groups, adhering to the provided curriculum.
  • Maintain discipline and manage classroom behaviour to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Quickly adapt to different teaching settings and requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to students' learning.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Uphold high standards of professional behaviour, fostering positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven teaching experience, preferably across multiple key stages and subjects.
  • Strong classroom management abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to engage and motivate students.
  • Ability to adapt to varying educational environments and requirements.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.

To work with GSL Education, you need to:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
