Substitute Teacher
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Salary: £120 - £150 per day day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2025 (Immediate start available for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Day-to-Day, Part-time/Full-time

As a Substitute Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Ensuring excellent classroom management to foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Following the school’s curriculum and guidelines, ensuring a smooth continuation of lessons.
- Supporting students with their learning needs and providing encouragement and motivation.
- Collaborating with the teaching team and staff to maintain a consistent and effective teaching experience.
- Managing student behaviour according to school policies and promoting respect and responsibility.
- Ensuring the classroom is a safe, respectful, and productive environment.
Requirements for the Substitute Teacher role:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a teacher, tutor, or in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and challenges.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A current DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one).
This is an exciting Substitute Teacher role, offering a competitive salary of £120 - £150 per day depending on experience. The role will start in January 2025, with the possibility of an immediate start, and is offered on a day-to-day, Part-time/full-time basis.
