Supply Teacher
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: £120 - £150 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2025 (Immediate start available for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Day-to-Day, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic Supply Teacher to work at a fantastic school in Christchurch, Dorset. As a Supply Teacher, you will be expected to:
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and age groups.
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement.
- Follow the school’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure the continuity of learning.
- Be adaptable and responsive to different teaching environments and student needs.
- Provide a positive and motivating learning experience for all students.
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a teacher or in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
- A strong passion for education and supporting student development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different classroom settings.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures (mandatory).
- A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
This is a Supply Teacher role based in Christchurch, offering a competitive daily rate of £120 - £150 per day, depending on experience. The role will start in January 2025 with immediate start available for the right candidate, and is available on a day-to-day basis.
