£120 - £173.41 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering a creative and engaging curriculum, fostering a nurturing learning environment, and supporting the academic and social development of children. The ideal candidate will have experience working in primary education, be passionate about teaching, and possess strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities of the Year 3 Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the national curriculum for Year 3.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student performance and well-being.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of educational resources and materials.

Requirements of the Year 3 Teacher:

  • Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably Year 3.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students with creative and engaging lesson plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
