Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role:
As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing tailored lessons that meet the unique needs of students with SEN. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of teachers and support staff to provide a nurturing environment that enables every student to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons that cater to the specific needs of students with SEN.
  • Working closely with the SENCO and support staff to ensure a personalised approach for each student.
  • Regularly assessing student progress and adapting lessons to meet evolving needs.
  • Creating an inclusive classroom where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Communicating with parents and carers to provide feedback and ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Requirements for Secondary SEN Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEN and a strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to suit individual learning needs.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to fostering inclusive education.

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Possess an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
