Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role:
As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering lessons that are tailored to the unique needs of students with SEN. You will be working alongside a collaborative team of educators to create an inclusive environment that fosters academic growth, confidence, and social development. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging, SEN-focused lessons for secondary-aged students.
  • Collaborating with other teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to ensure the best possible learning environment.
  • Assessing and tracking the progress of SEN students and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Building positive relationships with students to enhance their emotional and social development.
  • Regularly communicating with parents and carers to ensure cohesive support for students' learning.

Requirements for Secondary SEN Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching students with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Provide a current CV (covering from October 2015 to now) with recent references (from October 2022 to now).
  • Possess an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
