Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role:
As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering lessons that are tailored to the unique needs of students with SEN. You will be working alongside a collaborative team of educators to create an inclusive environment that fosters academic growth, confidence, and social development. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of students and support their individual learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and delivering engaging, SEN-focused lessons for secondary-aged students.
- Collaborating with other teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to ensure the best possible learning environment.
- Assessing and tracking the progress of SEN students and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Building positive relationships with students to enhance their emotional and social development.
- Regularly communicating with parents and carers to ensure cohesive support for students' learning.
Requirements for Secondary SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching students with SEN.
- Strong understanding of SEN and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to teaching.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.

To work with GSL Education as a Secondary SEN Teacher, you should:
- Have eligibility to work in the UK.
- Provide a current CV (covering from October 2015 to now) with recent references (from October 2022 to now).
- Possess an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
