Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role:
As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will work with students from Year 7 to Year 11, creating a tailored, inclusive learning environment. You’ll work closely with the SEN team and school staff to deliver engaging lessons that cater to each student’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the support and encouragement to thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and delivering specialised lessons to meet the individual needs of SEN students in secondary year groups.
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and other teachers to provide a nurturing learning environment.
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Promoting independence and confidence in students to help them reach their full potential.
  • Engaging with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates and support for students’ progress.

Requirements for Secondary SEN Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in SEN education.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and experience with secondary-aged students.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a compassionate approach.
  • A proactive mindset to support diverse learning needs and adapt as necessary.

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK.
