Salary: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join a welcoming school in Sholing. In this role, you’ll support students’ physical, emotional, and social needs, providing a safe and inclusive environment that enables them to thrive.
About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll work closely with students who require additional assistance due to physical, developmental, or learning challenges. This role involves building trusting relationships and helping students access a full, enriching educational experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing one-on-one and group support to students with disabilities.
- Assisting with daily tasks, ensuring students’ comfort and safety.
- Collaborating with teaching staff to create a supportive classroom environment.
- Encouraging students’ independence and confidence through tailored guidance.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies as required.
Requirements for Disability Support Worker:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for empowering students with diverse needs to succeed.

To work with GSL Education as a Disability Support Worker, you should:
- Have eligibility to work in the UK.
- Provide a current CV (covering from October 2015 to now) with recent references (from October 2022 to now).
- Possess an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
