Business/Economics Teacher
Location: Redbridge
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary Scale: £ 36,413 - £ 53,994 per annum (Depending on experience)
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate Business/Economics Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Redbridge. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in developing a strong understanding of business principles and economic concepts.
As a Business/Economics Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education, fostering a stimulating learning environment, and preparing students for academic success.
Responsibilities of a Business/Economics Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Business and Economics lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Prepare students for exams, ensuring their academic progress and engagement
- Implement differentiated instruction to cater to various student needs and abilities
- Work collaboratively with other staff to maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
- Participate in faculty meetings, CPD, and parent-teacher conferences as required
Required Qualifications for a Business/Economics Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Prior experience teaching Business and Economics at secondary school level
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
