Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic school in Totton. In this role, you’ll provide crucial support to SEN students, helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role:
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant in Totton, you will work closely with students on an individual basis and in small groups, addressing their unique needs and challenges. Collaborating with teachers, you’ll assist in adapting lessons to ensure every student has a chance to succeed and feel valued.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Offering targeted support to SEN students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Assisting teachers in delivering customised learning activities to suit student needs.
- Helping to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
- Encouraging students’ personal growth, social skills, and academic progress.
Requirements for SEN Learning Support Assistant:
- Previous experience with SEN students is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A patient, compassionate approach and commitment to inclusion.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Provide a current CV (covering October 2015 to the present) with recent references (from October 2022 to present).
- Hold a DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
