Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS)

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will work with students with a range of special educational needs, creating tailored learning plans and ensuring that each child can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This role provides the chance to inspire and make a lasting difference in students' lives, helping them thrive academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualised lesson plans to meet students' diverse learning needs.
  • Use innovative strategies to engage and support SEN students in their learning.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to create an inclusive environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A compassionate approach, with strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt teaching styles to suit individual needs.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
