SEN Teaching Assistant - Feltham
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive special educational needs school in Feltham. This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. If you have previous experience supporting children in an SEN or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) setting, we’d love to hear from you!
Salary: £90 to £110 per day, dependent on experience
About the Role:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs, helping them engage with their learning and build confidence.
- Support the classroom teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies and differentiated learning activities.
- Work with students who may have Autism, ADHD, or other specific needs, supporting their educational and emotional development.

What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in an SEN or SEMH setting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
- Passion for helping children reach their full potential and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles (an enhanced DBS on the update service will be required).
