Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour

GSL Education are excited to welcome a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to schools in Southbourne starting immediately. In this dynamic role, you’ll support students with varying learning needs, providing targeted assistance both individually and in small groups.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson materials, fostering a positive learning environment that inspires students to achieve their best. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and eager to positively impact students’ educational experiences.
Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support to help students excel in their learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to create innovative and accessible lesson materials.
- Assist in developing tailored learning strategies that meet individual student needs.
- Encourage student participation and engagement, building a supportive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students to help them feel confident and valued in the classroom.
Job Requirements needed for LSA:
- CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Education.
- A degree in Psychology, Education or related field.
- Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar educational role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for working with students to support their growth and development.
- Ability to adapt and support students in achieving their full potential.
To work with GSL Education as a Learning Support Assistant, you need:
- The right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
