Cover Supervisor
Location: Sudbury
Salary: £90 - £120 per day
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education are searching for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded school in Sudbury. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision for classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Implement lesson plans as provided by the absent teacher and maintain classroom discipline.
- Support students in completing their work and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
- Assist with examination supervision and accompany students on school trips when required.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A passion for education and supporting young people’s learning.
