This Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role involves supporting students’ learning and personal growth in a structured and nurturing environment.
About the Role:
The role of an SEN Learning Support Assistant is to provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN), working in partnership with teachers to create a supportive and engaging classroom experience. You will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Offering personalised support to special educational needs (SEN) students to aid their academic and social development.
- Working as an LSA to foster a positive and safe classroom environment.
- Assisting in the implementation of individual learning strategies for special educational needs (SEN) students.
- Contributing to the inclusive ethos of the school.
Requirements for SEN Learning Support Assistant:
- Previous experience in special educational needs (SEN) is ideal.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- Patience, resilience and a positive attitude.
- Teamwork skills for collaborative support of students.

To work with GSL Education as an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you should:
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Provide a current CV (from October 2015 to till now) with recent references (from October 2022 to till now).
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
