Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Havant. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will be instrumental in assisting students with diverse learning needs, making a tangible impact in their academic and personal growth.
About the Role:
The role of an SEN Learning Support Assistant involves supporting students with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. You will work collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure students are supported in a holistic and nurturing environment, adapting to their unique needs and learning styles.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing individualised support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Collaborating with the teaching team to create a positive, supportive environment.
- Assisting in the implementation of specific learning strategies to cater to each student’s needs as an LSA.
- Promoting academic and emotional development for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Requirements for SEN Learning Support Assistant:
- Experience working in a similar Special Educational Needs (SEN) role is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient and compassionate approach to working with children.
- Dedication to supporting students’ educational journeys.

- Hold a DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
