Pay Rate: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Boston. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in their academic journey and help them achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning needs. You will provide one-on-one and group support to help students understand and master various subjects, develop and implement learning strategies, and work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment. Your role will also involve supporting students in developing study skills and academic resilience, monitoring and recording their progress, and liaising with parents and carers to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Key Responsibilities of Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to create tailored learning plans that address the specific needs of each student. Regularly review and adjust these plans to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
- Offer one-on-one interventions to help students understand and master various subjects. Use evidence-based strategies to support students in developing positive learning habits and overcoming challenges.
- Provide feedback to teachers and adjust support strategies as necessary.
- Ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where all students feel valued and included.
- Cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
- Report to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.
Requirements of Primary Teaching Assistant:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of primary students.
- Communicating with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
- Ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
- Exhibit patience and empathy in your interactions.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).
To work with GSL Education as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
