Pay Rate: £83.33 - £90.00 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: November 2024
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive educational setting.
Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
- Tailor educational activities and resources to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Help students understand and complete their work, providing additional explanations and assistance as needed.
- Provide feedback to teachers and adjust support strategies as necessary.
- Ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where all students feel valued and included.
- Cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
- Report to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of students.
- Communicating with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships.
- Ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community.
- Exhibit patience and empathy in your interactions.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).
To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
