Maths Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Part-Time/Full-Time
Salary Scale: £150-£200 per day (Depending on experience)
GSL Education are looking for a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join a vibrant school in Doncaster. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and comprehensive maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, cultivating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping students build confidence and understanding in maths, guiding them to achieve their academic goals.
As a Maths Teacher, you will foster a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment. This role requires a commitment to high academic standards, with the goal of enhancing students’ problem-solving abilities and interest in mathematics. Your expertise will support each student’s progress and ensure they meet or exceed their academic potential.
Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective schemes of work.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Uphold school policies regarding behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
