Teaching Assistant - Lambeth (SW9)
Join GSL Education as a committed Teaching Assistant in a dynamic primary school in Lambeth (SW9). If you’re experienced in providing individual and group support for children and are available to start immediately, this role could be perfect for you!
About the Role:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support students’ academic and personal development.
- Provide 1:1 and small group assistance for children with Special Educational Needs.
- Encourage students to build confidence and self-esteem with focused support and tailored strategies.
- Engage with children who may have Autism, ADHD, and/or Challenging Behaviour.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Ability to provide effective 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs.
- Strong understanding of child learning and development.
- Great communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Dedication to helping students build confidence and self-belief.
Important:All applicants must understand safeguarding and child protection requirements. A full background check, including an enhanced DBS on the update service, is required.
