Salary: £75-£110 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long Term

GSL Education are looking for a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant (SEN) to join a primary school in Ashington. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs. About the Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant (SEN), you will provide essential support to students with varying special needs, helping them to engage with their learning and thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities for a Graduate Teaching Assistant (SEN) Include:

  • Assisting students with Special Educational Needs in their daily learning activities.
  • Supporting the classroom teacher in implementing tailored learning plans.

Requirements for a Graduate Teaching Assistant (SEN):

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs, is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • A caring and patient approach to supporting students.
