£120 - £210 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education Hull Branch are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a primary school in Hull, where you will have a pivotal role in equipping students for their transition to secondary education, fostering both their academic growth and personal development.

About the role:
As a Teacher (Year 6), you will deliver the national curriculum with a focus on core subjects, administer assessments, and provide individualised support to help students reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Key Stage 2 requirements, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for guiding students through this critical academic stage. Prior experience with Year 6 or SATs preparation is highly beneficial for this role.

Responsibilities of the Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with the national curriculum, focusing on core subjects.
  • Administer assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions.
  • Provide individualised support and interventions to help students overcome challenges and excel academically.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents to enhance student learning and development.

Requirements of the Teacher:

  • Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A solid understanding of Key Stage 2 requirements and the national curriculum.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • A genuine passion for guiding students through this crucial academic stage and preparing them for future challenges.
  • Prior experience with Year 6 or SATs preparation is highly beneficial, along with a track record of successful teaching practices.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
