Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Hedge End
Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 Per Hour
Start date: Immediate
Contract type: Full Time/Part Time

Do you have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? GSL Education are looking for a committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide much-needed support in Hedge End. About the Role:
In this role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other staff members to provide tailored support to children with additional learning needs. As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key part in helping students engage with their learning and succeed both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting students with SEN in the classroom, helping them engage with their lessons.
  • Implementing personalised learning strategies to meet each student’s needs.
  • Assisting with behavioural management and encouraging positive behaviour.
  • Working collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure all students’ needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN students is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A patient and understanding attitude towards working with children.
  • A flexible approach to working in different classroom settings.

To work with GSL Education as an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.

  • Have a DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
